Question by Zulfiqar: How can I protect WireLess feature of my Speed Touch ST 585 router ?
I have Speed Touch ST 585 DSL router connected to my PC. Many un-authorised people are using its wireless feature to connect to internet through illegal devices or cell phones for making international calls from PCs or mobile phones that effects its speed. How can I block such connections by using passwords. Please guide.

You could put some security on it by going onto your router home page which is usually 192.168.1.0 or 192.168.1.1 you enter this into an internet browser.

Or.

You can you mac filtering where you enter your own mac address and the the mac addresses of the people you want to allow onto your wireless and then there is an option to block all mac addresses not listed.
