tolerance is what happens when a person uses a drug for a period of time and so then needs to use more of it each time to have the same effect.
dependancy means to need the drug there are types of dependancy a psychological dependancy- where you think you need the drug) a physical dependancy- where your body has withdrawl symptoms if you don’t have the drug
addiction is where a person has a dependancy on a substance and an overwhelming desire to keep using it even though it is causing them harm. addiction is a disease. and is different for everyone who suffers with it
