Quitting Marijuana Help?

Question by Dan: Quitting marijuana help?
Ok, Just so you know, I want fair answers. No bullshit health class facts and no “I smoke every hour” facts. Clearly both of those views are flawed. (I’m not saying I have problems with heavy users because I was one.) Anyways, I loved weed until just recently. I started out smoking only on monthly occasions but now it has rapidly turned into a daily thing(feeling that it wasn’t bad because it couldn’t cause cancer). I realize it has many benifits but I don’t like the way I am nowadays. I feel like nothing can be this good. I want to change. I’ve changed and want to go back to my old self. I just want to know what to expect and how quitting will change my life. I don’t want to spend all my money and lie to my parents anymore. I feel awful. To Anyone who has gone through what I have gone through, Please tell me what you did and how you are now. Thank you guys. I’m 17 and starting school soon. (By the way, I don’t want to hear how anyone can quit at anytime) It’s harder than it sounds. Also, can I eventually return to smoking on just occasions to help calm myself? Such as once a week?
Don’t get me wrong. I love weed! But I want to get back on the track where I could just use it to chill and relax. Not to use it only because I can! Thanks

anyone cant quit anytime i smoked everyday for about a year and a half, you just have a mental addiction, and yea it sound like your personality conflicts with daily use, and you should probably not do it daily WEED CAN CONFLICT WITH YOUR PERSONALITY, and it sounds like it’s not for you….. when i did i didn’t feel bad or depressed, i just had a really really fun year… and quit within an hour of deciding to quit….

marijuana is non-addictive drugs as compared to other drugs as it doesn’t have physical dependence..but mental addiction of marijuana is very dangerous..as for occasionally weed smoker weed gives mental relief and feeling of well being….and for some people negative effects gives like that feeling of that they had done something wrong, panic, vomitting….

quiting marijuana can give u some mental pressure for about a week..you may feel angry, stomach pain, headache, can’t eat food, bore, unable to do work..etc…and remember every drugs are difficult to quit…it is not easy as you say…cause your state of mind has already addicted to pleasure given by marijuana…that means mentally addicted is forever in life it can’t be erased…all we need to do is increase will power and change a behaviour..
