How Do You Know for Sure an Addict Is in Recovery?

Question by LisaT: How do you know for sure an addict is in recovery?
I know someone who has had a drug addiction problem (prescriptions). She seems to be doing better, but I’ve been fooled before. How do I know for sure that she means it this time? Are there any “trick questions” or sure signs to tell that she’s really off the drugs? I want to believe in her.

her actions should prove it, if you feel that something is not adding up, then she prob isn’t clean…
