CMPG Lotus Evora Gallery
During the month of January 2011, the Central Motorway Police Group (CMPG) took delivery of a white Lotus Evora, on a free loan from Lotus Cars. With a little help from their partners at Reflexite UK and Bluelight Graphics, bespoke livery was hand cut and applied, with Woodway Engineering suppying and fitting the emergency warning lights and siren. The Police Lotus Evora was born and debuted at the Autosport International Pistonheads Show 2011 at the NEC 13th to 16th January 2011, after which it saw active service on the Greater Midlands motorway network, highlighting the effects of speed and the inappropriate use of speed, particularly amongst the high risk 17 yrs to 24 yrs age group, who are disproportionately respresented in the killed and seriously injured collisions.
