We constantly see public service announcements warning of the dangers of drugs, so why do so many people so stupidly begin using them? Do they really think that they’re so special that they won’t become addicted or suffer the consequences of addiction?
Yes, my life sucks. That’s why I use Prozac, which is legal and not nearly as dangerous as crack or meth.

Easy access to the drugs. Chances are the first time abusers tried the drug was through a friend/parent/relative.

And yes, some people have the “it won’t happen to me” kind of mentality. Especially young people.
