Police Dog Put Down After Poisoning
WAYNESBORO, Ga. — An east Georgia police department said its only K-9 had to be put down after a drug bust. Officers served an arrest warrant at a Waynesboro home Friday. Officials said the dog walked through a toxic ingredient used to make methamphetamine.

Arrest follows call for help on burn
A 33-year-old man, whose identity and address were not available Saturday night from the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office, was flown to a Louisville hospital Saturday afternoon after requesting assistance treating a burn.
