Gotta love that hellfire and damnation line that the King James version takes, I love the use of the word “shameth”.

Interestingly enough, drug addiction sort of falls between the gaps of the 7 Deadly Sin basket, but I have to categorise it so I have plumped for Gluttony. This was on the grounds that any addiction is, in many respects “over consumption to the point of waste” which is predominantly the biblical take on Gluttony, although more in relation to food and alcohol. The Pope, recently added drug taking to a list of “new deadly sins”. The original list was some 1500 years old, and didn’t really cater some of the more modern “nasty habits”.

Of course heroin, crack , crystal meth, etc… are all fairly minor drugs by comparison to the damage the alcohol and tobacco causes to society…….

…When I asked a mate on MSN what he thought of this shot he said “lol, most people would have used chocolate or something!” …that amused me 🙂

Lightroom: crop, sepia preset, max out contrast and nudge brightness slightly, use brush tool to darken fingers and bits of tinfoil that were almost blown out and lighten smoke slightly, post crop vignette, save to JPG
