Launched in 1944, US Navy Hospital Ship USS Sanctuary (AH-17) served in WWII to be later decommissioned in 1946. USS Sanctuary returned to service in 1966 and was later dispatched to Vietnam. After her service during the Vietnam War, USS Sanctuary was again decommissioned and mothballed. In 1997 Project Life acquired the hospital ship with plans to use it as a drug rehabilitation treatment facility for women in Baltimore, Maryland however it appears that this plan never came to fruition. Today USS Sanctuary sits moored in Baltimore. You can read more about this ship here.
