So I was just e-mailed about a contest NBC is having for moms and was wondering what other people think of them describing adoptive moms as non mom moms.

It defines a “non mom mom” as “Grandparent, stepmom, or mom to adopted children, each one raising and loving a child. A priceless gift for everybody.”

In checking out their web site I was not impressed with the little blurbs they wrote under the adoptive moms. Mostly the refrence to one persons children as “meth babies”

i think adoptive moms are very real moms. they make the same sacrifices as the rest of us.
