Question by Lisa C: Can I take Adderall out of the country?
I am currently prescribed Adderall for ADD. I am planning to fly back to Germany in the summer to visit family. Since Adderall is a Class II drug, (Amphetamine) what are the limitations on transporting certain drugs in and out of the U.S.?

Where can I find foreign policies on Class II drugs? Specifically Germany.

Someone out there HAS to know, I have tried looking at the DEA’s website, but no help there.

There shouldnt be restrictions in transporting it as long as the medication is prescribed to you and it doesnt exceed a one months supply and is carried in the bottle it originally came in. If you are planning on staying overseas, the classes of scheduled drugs arent quite the same as they are in the US. At any rate, as long as you have a prescription its ok.
