I Broke Up With Her, Am I Justified?

Question by James W: I broke up with her, am I justified?
Dated for 2 years and half, Her social skills suck, so we were together all the time, she doesnt have any GFs, all her friends are guys who viewed her as two boobs and a vagina. She broke up with me after 11/2 years, for another guy, I moved to another state, but couldnt stand it, I begged her to come back and she agreed, we rented our own apartment, and found out that worked as a stripper when I was in the other state, also I found out that she was on hardcore drugs (Meth) and was hanging out with the trashiest people ever(Gangsters and escort girls). She also slept with several guys.

I tried to get out of this relationship so many times, but everytime she would come to me crying and tell me that she has changed, and stupid me I would believe her. 3 days ago I broke up with her, because of her repeated violent and physically and emotionally abusive behavior, that resulted in me calling the cops on her after she broke my windshield. The relationship one of the most dysfunctional relationships I have heard of in my entire life. Anyways, I refused to press charges, because I dont want her to go to jail.

Things that I dont miss:

-24/7 nagging and fighting over stupid things.
-Having to deal with 60 something years old Meth addict woman who calls herself “Mama Vicky” and my ex befriended!!!
-The constant lies and manipulation
-The constant drama
-etc, etc
However, call me crazy, but I do miss the comfort that she provided me with.

The reason why I kept taking her back is because I felt really bad, I mean she is so naive, and got so many problems
