What Part in All of This Do Gangs Play?

Question by gokart121: What part in all of this do gangs play?
It’s widely assumed that drugs/drug sales are behind a lot of the increase in crime we’ve seen over the last few years, some states have gone as far as taking prescription medication off the shelves to prevent people from making methamphetamine etc. What connection, if any, do you percieve between the illegal drug trade and illegal immigration?

Illegal drugs fund quite a bit of the human trafficking infrastructure.
