Hall County, G.I. overall crime numbers increase
Crime statistics released last week comparing crime in Nebraska from 2008 to 2009 indicated an overall increase in crime for Grand Island, but a report released on Thursday indicated that the crime rate for 2010, so far, is down from the same period in 2009.

Havelock man sentenced for drug violations
JACKSONVILLE — A Havelock man arrested last year by the Onslow County Sheriff’s Office on drug charges was sentenced Friday to more than 40 years in prison, officials say.
