I have a brother named Vernon. He is 25, and he is one of the 4 brothers and 1 sister that i have. He’s been taking drugs for about 5 years! About 2 years ago he started smoking Rocks/Crystal meth. We sent him to a rehab for 3 months and he seemed to be doing fine.But then he had a relapse when he came out and started with drugs again. I was very supportive and open about it with him, and tried to help him get off the drugs.

Sadly it didnt work, he had another relapse, and went back onto the rocks. It got so bad that he started stealing everything that he could find and selling it to for his habbit (from the family). So i arrested him for a month. After the month was up, i dropped the charges against him and he was released. He swore that he never wants to go back there and that he will never take drugs again!

But it looks like hes back onto it again ='[. Im at my wits end, and my other family members dont care anymore. They dont help me & are tired of it all.. and im ALONE! ='[
He has a job, the same day that he got out of jail and was released i got him his job back and spoke to hiss boss about it. He has already lost all of his friends.. that happened about a year ago. And we kicked him out a good couple of times. Literally! And i have tried getting mad with him and let him hit rock bottom, thats when he started stealing everything from me and other family members to sell it. He has a son too… and has already nearly lost him because of the drugs. I honestly dont know what to do. =[ i have tried EVERYTHING to get him to stop. And im really hurting alot in my heart because of this because i dont want to see him throw his life away. He thinks im bieng spitefull by what i did and arrested him. But im just trying to help him because he cant help himself! ='[ its been 5 years that he has been doing it… Im lost and dont know what to do with myself. Its messing my life up too even though he is the one with the problem. I feel so alone ='[

I hate to tell you this but you are going to have to get real tough next time do not drop the charges make him hit the bootom and long term jail usually does that if he wants to stay clean he will go to rehab and continue out patient treatment. But you are goingto have to go real tough on him stop being so supportive get mad with him and make him get mad at him self. video tape him when he is messed up and show it to him when he sobers up..
