Hi, I’m 16 years old and I took a depression quiz online and apparently I’m suffering from severe depression. I would NOT like to tell my parents about this or consult a doctor so I am searching for a quick fix. I was wondering, how effective are antidepressants? What are the side-effects? Are there any other possible solutions?

It’s nothing major…its just that I have been under a lot of pressure because of exams and school work…and parents have expectations and I can’t disappoint them.

Antidepressants can ruin your sex life. They can make you gain weight.

Exercise helps with depression. Get more exercise and skip the drugs.
