Mowrey Elementary nurse talks to teachers about inhalant abuse
Teachers at Mowrey Elementary School were surprised to learn inhalants are the fourth most common drug of choice for adolescents. “It was an eye-opener for teachers,” according to school nurse Peggy Fetterhoff, who said she learned more about inhalant abuse as part of her studies as a school nurse through Slippery Rock University and then presented a program to the teachers.
