My Brother Is on Meth and I Dont Know How to Help?

Question by Rose: my brother is on meth and I dont know how to help?
He is about to loose his wife, kid, and house. He’s in a downward spiral. I have suggested meetings (NA, AA) drug tests, rehab centers, he only gets more mad and insists he’s depressed, but his teeth are rotting out of his mouth, he smells, he’s up for days, then sleeps for days, and he is a d*ck to everybody. Does anyone have suggestions on what we should say? He’s in DEEP denial.

its must be really hard for you to watch, but there is really nothing you can do, just show him you love him, and hope that he realizes his mistakes before its too late.. meth becomes the center of your life. if he loses his family i doubt he will ever try to quit. no one can convince you to quit. you got to make up your own mind. my mother used to cry and beg me to quit. i would feel really really really guilty, but there was no way i could give it up.
but the first thing he has to do if he wants to quit, is stay away from people that use meth, if you see someone using, i guarentee he will go back.
it must be hard..
