Question by Derek B: How can I find out which Rehab center my friend is at?
I just moved back home and found out my best friend is in rehab in Delaware. But I don’t know how to find out which one she’s at. I know she had a drug problem and was suicidal a lot, and I’m sure it’s an impatient care center. Can I call them up and ask if she’s there or something?

They will not tell you, even if you are a family member.. The only way is to contact someone who already knows, like her immediate family. HIPPA laws only allow any type of disclosure to those she has signed a release for:

Chances are, even if you did know, you wouldn’t be able to contact her until she gets out. Rehabs limit contact with the outside world.
