Question by : will Promethazine show up on a standard 5-panel drug test?
What type of drug is promethazine? is it an opiate? And for a standard drug test (thc, cocaine, amphetamines, opiates and pcp) will it show up on it? Please help, thanks!

It is not a controlled substance, it is not addictive or abusable. It is a antihistamine and antiemetic (anti nausea) not an opiate or other type of drug.. There is a promethazine and codeine mix which would show up positive as an opiate due to the codeine. And if you ever have a prescription that shows up on a drug test it will be fine.
