This is a first-hand lesson of HOW NOT TO PROMOTE YOUR SELF-PUBLISHED WORK! This is a copy of a recording received on my office voicemail Friday evening at 11:30 at night. The caller’s name, phone number, and product name are intentionally obscured to cover my ass. This guy blathered on for five minutes before voicemail cut him off. He was having a grand CONVERSATION with my voicemail. My guess is that he’s had a few beers and been into crystal meth, and now was sitting at home alone and NEEDED to share his latest brilliant idea with someone; who happened to be me.
