My mayor Oscar Goodman believes that homeless people should go to a rehab program.I didnt believe him until i started going to a shelter to volunteer.I see so many people that would rather sleep outside and blow there money.Vegas is a rough city for those with addictions especially gambling.

There are lots of different reasons why the homeless are homeless. Some would benefit from rehab, some would not. There are quite a few people with mental illnesses who are homeless who could at least benefit from apprpriate meds, but its their choice to take them or not. And then there are normal people who became homeless due to layoffs, unemployment, and undereducation. You always need to take a look at individuals and their circumstances. You can not lump any population together and find one simple solution.
