Question by #2 coming october 2008: Is suboxone just an opiate blocker or does it block all other drugs too???
can you get severe withdrawal symptons if you do other drugs like cocaine, benzos, alcohol….

The “blocking” component of Suboxone is the naloxone, which only affects mu-opoid binding drugs – so, all opiates of course, possibly DXM (dextromethorphan) and probably other drugs that I can’t think of off the top of my head. You’d have to be more specific.

Cocaine, alcohol and benzos would not be affected.
