Three Moab residents were injured in a two-vehicle crash on state Route 279 on Monday, July 19. The accident occurred at about 8:30 p.m. about 13 miles from the turnoff to U.S. 191, according to a report from the Utah Highway Patrol when a Pontiac G6 driven by 27-year-old Moab man was struck by a Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by a 19-year-old Moab man as the Jeep was attempting to pass the Pontiac.
