Does Past Drug Use Affect Future Health?

I am wondering if drug use years ago that was stopped will affect health later in life. For example, could amphetamine use for a period of a year or two that was stopped for good cause heart probs later in life? Could marijuana use that was stopped still cause lung probs? I am clean and have been for years but I often worry if I’ve damaged my body from the past years of abuse. If it can, what should I do to improve my chances of the best health now and as I age?

Yes any type of illegal drug use will affect you health. The problem have it will affect you long term is a different story.
