Do Ex Cocaine Users Still Act Crazy Years After They Stopped Using?

Question by Andres: Do ex cocaine users still act crazy years after they stopped using?
My father in law has a reputation for being a coke head for many years in the 80’s through the late 90’s . He still acts crazy and flips out and has a violent demeanor about him. Do you think the cocaine rewired his brain and is created his insanity? He still thinks about the drug, I smoke pot reg. (i am very responsible and only smoke late night around 9 and i smoke only about 20 dollars a week, he knows i smoke but ask’s me if I know anyone with coke but of course i say no) and I dont understand how he can still act his way. He also smokes newport cigerettes , like 1 pack a day for almost 20 years as well.Any help guys?

What is happening, is what happens to all drug users eventually. It finally destroys the brain, non reversible! In the future, we shall have a generation of people in the same position, sad!
