Question by MJ: How can I find out if the house I’m currently living in was used as a meth lab by the previous tenants?
No matter what part of the house this happens in …if a piece of clothing gets left on the carpet, it ends up smelling like cat urine. It’s odd though, because you’d think that cats would only “go” in certain areas. This permeates ALL of the carpeting in the entire house. I have to run my a/c just to be able to tolerate the smell of the house. We also had problems with the plumbing – the drains smelled really bad whenever I would do my laundry. That seemed to go away after I started adding a cup of vinegar to each load.
