Her current run for state representative, she notes, wasn’t a path she envisioned for herself as recently as several months ago. At her recent campaign kickoff event, she referred to herself as “green — in an outsider and non-politician type of way.”

Request to limit booze prices dismissed
Maple Ridge council is unhappy with the provincial government’s response to its letter supporting a limit on alcohol prices. Councillors voted at Monday’s workshop to send the response back to the social planning advisory committee to write a reply.
