Attn. all men,
THE FOLLOWING IS AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE
.
I bring urgent and important news.
.
Whatever you decide to do with your life, there is something that you may have already seen or heard of that can ruin your life and shatter your dreams: PORNOGRAPHY.
.
I’m sure that you’ve heard this before, but i warn you: DO NOT START EVER.
.
I don’t say this simply because I believe it’s wrong. This material can not only strike you as being morally wrong; it can spiral you into an addiction that can last you the rest of your life.
.
Ever heard of tobacco? Marijuana? Heroine? Cocaine? Meth? None of them even come close to the damage both physically and mentally, that pornography does to you.
.
The drugs listed above have something in common: If you give it time, the substance ITSELF will flush out of the system. Pornography is different: It stays in your head and sets up camp for good; and no matter what you do, it will NEVER LEAVE.
.
So it stays; fixed in your mind; and for a while you feel okay. But give it a year, a month, a week, and it seeps into your thoughts; constantly reminding you of its presence until eventually…
.
YOU CAN THINK OF NOTHING ELSE!
.
Then you come to the stunning realization that you’re becoming less attached to your family; that your friends are becoming distant.
.
After that it gets worse. You start not to care about school. Or your job. The only thing that keeps you going is your addiction. You need the money to pay for internet. Or magazines. Or sex toys. All so that you can feed it to the fire in your head. One that can’t be slaked, or extinguished.
.
Even more chilling is the fact that while it stays, it poisons your mind. Depending on your personal life, you could develop serious mental issues similar to those experienced by drug abusers. You’ve got to hide your addiction from your friends and family. You have to scrounge for money to feed your addiction. And all the while, your mind constantly reminds you of your addiction…
.
If you tell yourself to shut up, it will never listen. It will just sit there, feeding you thoughts and pictures until it finally drives you insane.
.
Some people argue that sexual addiction isn’t a real addiction.
.
If it isn’t, it does a damn good job imitating one.
.
.
A lifetime for two seconds. Does it add up?
