Rome-Floyd Metro Task Force Discover Meth Lab in Burned Warehouse
Joey Jacobs of the Rome-Floyd Metro Task Force said this afternoon that a warehouse that burned this morning housed a methamphetamine lab. It appears those using the warehouse as a lab were attempting to burn evidence. Equipment has been confiscated, including a crock pot and pseudoephedrine tablets. The building is owned by County Commissioner John Mayes but is rented.
