House Thursday 3/4/10 Highway Projects, Vanity Plates and Substance Abuse Discussed in the House

In the House today, the Roads and Transportation Committee members had many questions for staff and attorneys concerning SB352 to allow counties to plan and finance major highway projects. And the House hopes to get out of the vanity license plate business and turn it over to the Department of Transportation. Del. Don Perdue hopes the Senate will look favorably upon HB4666 creating a plan to deal with the states growing substance abuse problem. Tom Miller reports for The Legislature Today.
