My best friend was on methadone for her back pain,and they just stop giving it to her they put her on morphine instead now-my advise to you would be to go through the med detox,she had been on pain medicine for 3 years now and she is so sick of it she cant do anything-she cant wake up in the morning and just go she has to wait fro 20 minutes for her medicine to work,she is only 30 and they cant figure whats worng with her back ,she has gone through injections in her back of cortizone that didnt work she has had mris and xrays nothing has helped.if you cant get of the medication do it.
