Question by Drp312000: Would I detox from Suboxone after takeing 20mgs for a month.?
Ive been in the treatment for about 5 months.I started a 8 mgs and then went up 2mgs every week untill i was at 16mgs. now im at 20. WOuld i detox from it if i suddenly stoped.

You shouldn’t abruptly stop taking a high-level dose of any medication but it’s worse in the case of suboxone because you might actually suffer from withdrawal. You need to consult with your doctor and taper off, taking lower amounts each week until you can safely stop.
