Question by confused000: Will a detection of adderall mask a detection of pot on a urine drug test?
I have a prescription for adderall. I have to take a pre-employment drug test. I was wondering since that I will be detected positive with amphetamines will pot come up as something different or will it just say I’m positive overall? Basically I want to know if my adderall will cover my use of pot on the drug test and they will just think I’m positive from the adderall not the pot.

unless they use a really cheap drug test then no. amphetamines and THC are two completely different chemicals which show up independent of each other on a UA.
