HELP! I’m Scared Something Is Really Wrong With Me, What Could These Symptoms Mean?

Question by Skye: HELP! I’m scared something is really wrong with me, what could these symptoms mean?
I’m a 35 year old woman with no children. I’m in okay health but I do have Hep C which I haven’t treated yet. My liver enzyme levels are actually fairly normal. I do smoke a lot, almost 2 packs a day and I’ve been smoking for 18 years now. I’m 140 lbs. and 5′ 7 so I’m at a very healthy weight. I don’t have good eating habits though. I also suffer from severe depression and bad anxiety. I currently take Xanax (2 mg.) a day but am not on an anti-depressant. I take Methadone daily for an opiate addiction (I’ve been clean for over a year now). I was outside today playing with my puppies when I suddenly felt very weak and shaky and my heart was racing. I was sweating so bad that my hair was soaking wet and it was cool out. I was able to lay down. I had only ate an egg roll around noon and it was 5 o’clock when this happened. I ate a large dinner though. I’m afraid I might have had a slight stroke or heart attack. It wasn’t a panic attack because I was very calm, even happy and not in a stressful situation. What else could it have been? Can you have a very mild stroke or heart attack and not know it? I worry because Xanax and Methadone are very strong drugs and can interact but I’ve been on both for a year now with it just sometimes making me feel sleepy. I’m worried because of my heavy smoking. What kinds of tests should I have?

Did you happen to have any caffeine? Too much can make you feel this way.
