Brigid Polk Discussing Amphetamines

Honestly,this is pretty much my favorite part of the movie..or ONE of my favorite parts anyway… it’s funny because the drug that she is speaking of is actually what is nowadays refurred to as Adderall..the adhd drug..It was called Obetrol,I believe,back then,and it was used as a diet pill…Andy Warhol took it to lose,and maintain his weight and gave it to all of the “factory kids”…only unlike today,OBVIOUSLY instead of taking it orally,it was shot up..and more that frequently abused as a recreational drug.. it’s quite interesting,eventually they took it off the market,and then put it back on the market to treat adhd,the drug itself is just a cocktail of amphetamine salts.
