Illegal drugs top issue for Lawrence sheriff candidates
MOULTON — Candidates for Lawrence County sheriff say the fight against illegal drugs is the most important issue facing the Sheriff’s Department. Incumbent Sheriff Gene Mitchell faces Marshall “Keith” Ligon, Chris Proctor and Bob Arndt in the Democratic Primary on June 1.
