State lawmakers propose restrictions on methadone treatment programs
As residents of Hazleton’s southside await a decision from Luzerne County Court on a city zoning variance that would permit an addiction treatment clinic to operate in their neighborhood, state lawmakers are pushing for legislation that would tighten regulations on the clinical use of methadone in addiction recovery.
