Is This the Worst Year of Your Life and if So, Why?

Yes. My cousin who was like a sister to me and my best friend died of a accidental overdose in April. When I returned to work, I was terminated due to excessive absences. The doctor put me on disability. 2 months later, my father in law died suddenly due to cancer and my heart ached while my husband was in another state with his dying Dad. In addition, my husband insisted that I not attend the memorial service due to his oldest loser brother stealing inheritance money and acting like a complete ASS as usual. A month later our friends 3 1/2 month old baby died of SIDS. During all of this, I’ve been caring for my ailing father who’s been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease after 20 years of abusing methamphetamine. Now our best friends are divorcing after the husband walked out on the family with no warning at all. And he just doesn’t care! Bitter stories (maybe some lies) are being told and denials are being made. I never dreamed this could happen and am having a really hard time dealing with life….like I never have before.
