Why Does Meth Make You Ugly?

Like in before and after pictures of crystal meth users, they got really ugly/scary looking.
Not just emaciated but they have sores and their faces just look wrong.

How does the drug cause this effect?

I ask entirely out of curiosity, by the way :P.
