Can I Compell My Ex to Take a Drug Test?

Prior to my seperation my ex was in rehab for drug abuse and he had gotten into a car accident with our kids in the car because he was high. Once he came out we seperated because I believed he was still using and found evidence he was cheating on me. Our divorce isn’t final yet and right now he has every other weekend plus evrey other Wednesday visitation with our kids. He wants every other Thursday now too. I want him to take a drug test first to prove he is clean, but my lawyer says the judge probably will not make him take the test because I have not SEEN him use drugs since he came out of rehab and that his history of drug abuse wont matter to the judge. Is this true?
I am not asking that his visitation be suspended or reduced… only that he pass a drug test before being allowed to have them for MORE visitation that what he’s getting now.
