Trumann police officers learning to become “drug recognition experts”
Officials with the Trumann Police Department told Region 8 News that two officers have been participating in a drug recognition program offered through the U.S. Justice Institute. The course, which is offered at no cost to officers nominated by a number of public safety officials, is taught to law enforcement officers who would like to become drug recognition experts.
