Student designs poster to educate people about prescription drug abuse
A Grayling High School Senior lent her talents to a task force focused on stopping the spread of prescription drug abuse. Kelsey Neuberger designed a poster for the Crawford Partnership for Substance Abuse Awareness, which says, “This Sharing is Not Caring: Stop Prescription Drug Abuse.”

Gallagher Requests Prison With Drug-Abuse Program
Disgraced former Broward County School board member Beverly Gallagher is requesting she be sentenced to a minimum-security prison with a drug-abuse program. The woman, convicted on a federal bribery charge, said this week that she suffered from depression over the past four years, binged on alcohol and briefly abused pain pills.
