1993 Dodge Shadow With 5 Speed Manual Transmission Had Clutch Replaced at 100,000 Mile. Clutch Was Not Worn?
Clutch lining was not worn much at all, but the rivets started falling out of the clutch disk (the rivets that were attaching the clutch lining on the disk). Why would that happen, was the clutch abused somehow? Why would the rivets just start to work/fall out? Does this happen on all types of cars? I know it is true (rivets falling out) because I saw it with my own eyes when the clutch was taken apart, but never seen or heard of it before?
