Can the Presence of Acetone in a Mixture Cause a False Positive Test for the Presence of Methamphetamine?
I have a client that contends he mixed a laxative, a multivitamin and some acetone together and sold it to an informant as methamphetamine. The SBI lab report shows the presence of meth. Either my client is lying, or the informant or police switched substances or the lab got a false positive. We are taking the case to trial. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
