The Movie “Bug” What It’s Really About?

Question by Smoky: The Movie “Bug” What it’s really about?
I watched the film for the 2nd time today, and I am beginning to believe that it’s actually about Meth psychosis.

It makes sense, the whole white trash thing, it’s obvious they don’t have a lot of money and meth is cheap. Also, someone makes a comment about the gas can saying “I know what you’re using this for” And they’re paranoid, bouncing off the walls, and picking at their skin.

I thought it was about a couple of paranoid delusional drug addicts that are sharing common delusions.
