I do not want to sound like another ignorant moron claiming to have been “discriminated against” in my work place. I will begin by stating, I do not plan to name the company, or any employees. It is an ENORMOUS corporation though. I started my job in March. Again, not an attempt to sound “uppity” but I was a top “seller” 4 months straight. I was praised and recognized by management. New management steps in, many of my coworkers leave, knowing these new managers. I figure, I hadn’t been there long enough, I could tough it out. July comes and a full time position becomes available. I apply and give the application to my direct supervisor. The manager above him asks me a day later “why would I interview you if you’re on a final warning for attendance?” I was dumbfounded. I simply stated that I was not. I never ever got an interview for that full time spot. Same time, I was being accused of abusing cocaine in the parking lot outside my job. Never drug tested (I wish I were, I have never even tried that drug). So obviously, I was passed up for the full time position. It was given to someone who has called in “sick” 9 times since. The other day I go to a “meeting” with my manager. I was terminated for attendance. 180 days in this company and all your attendance history goes away. On the termination sheet, there were 5 dates. Of the 5, one was from April, 2 were from May. According to “policy” they cannot count against me. As I stated before, I was on a “final” since July. Termination paperwork showed October as the date I was given a “final.” The termination date I was late, someone VERY close to me passed at 4:36am. Our store had a meeting at 8:30. I was grieving at night, and unfortunately got there at 8:40. I WAS late, but the other 3 were supposed to have been erased according to policy. Does this sound like any form of discrimination? Also, I saved this for my last fact. I am black, all of management is white. I do not pull a “race card” in just figuring options.

i can not understand wholly what you are saying… i’m not that good in English
but i would said they are so stupid if they are really terminating you because of you are not a white person and how they can accuse you on drug if they never tested you. make an appointment with the head of the head and don’t listen to the small sucks manager…
don’t worry every company have one or two dogs that like to disturb people.. let them bark and you conquer them
