Woman chooses jail over alcohol treatment
LOCKPORT—Amy L. New, of Lockport, told her probation officer she’d rather go to jail than obtain treatment for her alcohol addiction, so Niagara County Judge Matthew J. Murphy III obliged her Tuesday.
