Could it be that raising the prices on alcohol products to the levels they have smoking products HURT all these legislators who themselves are “alcoholics?” I for one am tired of the government using smokers as scapegoats for every little whim they can think of in Washington. How about you?

Do those in government see smoking as detrimental to society? I doubt it, the revenue they raise from taxing cigarettes is substantial.
