Why Does My Kitten Grind His Teeth?

Question by Kitty: Why does my kitten grind his teeth?
My male kitten (6 months) has been grinding his teeth more frequently for the last few weeks. He seems to be doing it when he’s just lying around, not after eating or anything like that. What could be causing him do this?

Also, when he was losing his “baby” teeth a month or two ago he bleed a fair bit and had inflamed gums but it went away. I am not sure if this is related to the grinding but I added it just in case.
